Transfers

.ES domain transfers are free because they aren't renewed. This happens as long as there are more than 30 days to the domain's expiration, in case the expiration is in less than 30 days the price is the same as the domain renewal, as the domain would be renewed for one year once the transfer completes.

In order to complete the .ES domain transfer it's necessary to have access to the e-mail address of the domain's administrative contact, because to initiate the transfer Nic.es will send an email from which you're be able to accept or deny the domain transfer.

Renewals

.ES domains can be renewed at any moment, in case the domain haven't been renewed 10 days after expiration date, the domain will be free for register again. .ES renewals shouldn't take more than 10 minutes in complete.

Cancellations

It's possible to ask for the cancellation of your .ES domain, you'll have to do it opening a ticket (support area). Please note the domain cancellation involves no refund of the domain registration fee.
