What is a sub-domain?
A sub-domain is a way of having a related website, as an annex to a main website. A sub-domain would be for example: http://blog.yourdomain.com, in this case, the sub-domain "blog" would be showing the content of a folder hosted in your hosting plan but being more easy to remember and shorter than http://www.yourdomain.com/blog/
